What types of equipment commonly use R410A?
R410A is widely used in existing residential and light-commercial air-conditioning and heat pump systems. In the U.S., newer equipment is transitioning to lower-GWP refrigerants, but existing R410A systems can continue to be serviced with R410A.
How much R410A comes in each cylinder?
Each cylinder contains 25 lb (11.3 kg) of net R410A refrigerant. This does not include the weight of the cylinder or outer packaging.
Can R410A be mixed with other refrigerants?
No. R410A should not be mixed with other refrigerants or used in equipment designed for a different refrigerant. Any retrofit or conversion should follow manufacturer requirements.
Who should handle or service R410A?
Charging, recovery, servicing, and repairs involving R410A should be performed by a qualified HVAC professional using appropriate equipment. Refrigerant must not be intentionally vented.

Do not use a cylinder that appears damaged, leaking, or unsafe. Keep it away from heat and flames and contact our support team with your order number and clear photos.
